Barbara Akiona Obituary

Barbara Akiona, 85, of Anahola passed away at home on August 15, 2019. She was born on Oahu on December 6, 1933 and retired as a sales clerk with Longs Drugs.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Akiona; parents, Koshiro and Mary Takahashi and sister, Joyce Higa.

Barbara is survived by her children, Wilma Akiona, Berna (Larry) Akiona Arruda, Daryl (Jennifer) Akiona; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosalind (Roy) Fujimoto, Helen Suehiro; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe.
