Castora “Casey” Guillermo Suero, 96, of Lihue passed away in Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 14, 2018. She was born in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on March 29, 1922, and retired as a Butcher with Yoneji Store. She was an active member of the Lihue Neighborhood Center and an avid crocheter making beanies and blankets for friends and family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Catalino Suero; daughter, Andrita Perreira; son, Catalino Suero II; sister, Nancy Corpuz; brother, Nicanor Guillermo.
Casey is survived by four children, Carmencita (Aurilio) Padilla, Kathleen (Ronald) Aceret, Catalino “Tino” (Carol Joslin) Suero III, Charlmaine (Adams) Bulosan; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 8 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
