Dolores “Dolly” “Doding” Teresa Espina, 85, of Lihue passed away on December 23, 2018 at Garden Isle Healthcare. She was born in Kilauea, Kauai on April 23, 1933. She worked as a Floor Clerk at Kapaa Big Save.
Dolores was preceded in death by her Husband, Rufino Espina Jr.; sons, Gregory “Greg” Espina and Michael “Mikey” Espina; parents, Esteban & Fortunata Largusa; sisters, Modesta (Nicanor) Razonable, Linda Largusa, Magdalena Largusa and Adrian Mandep; brothers, Bonificio, Ben, Frank, Nador, Raleigh and Norman Largusa, Adrian Mandep.
She is survived by her daughters, Roxanne (Peter) Hiltsley, Priscilla Espina and Novella (Lawrence) Natividad; sons, Edward (Peggy) Espina; brothers, Domingo (Janet) Largusa, Robert (Dolly) Mandep and Justin (Beatrice) Tactay; sisters, Aurea (Phil) Laymon, Loretta (Kenneth) Goode, Elaine (Michael) Prebula; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 19th, 2019 at St. Catherine Church in Kapaa. Viewing will begin at 9:30 am with mass celebrated at 11:00 AM.
Inurnment will take place at Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery in Hanapepe at a later date.
