Geoffrey Culverhouse Obituary
Geoffrey “Geoff” Culverhouse, long time manager for Ching Young Village Shopping Center in Hanalei passed away on March 28, 2019. He was born to Barbara and Kenneth Culverhouse in Bath, England on March 9, 1948. One brother, Antony predeceased him. Over the years he worked in several countries but after visiting Kauai in the 1980’s he made Kauai his home. He is survived by a niece, Michelle Culverhouse and her two children, Kealia and Antonia, who reside in England. He is also survived by Jennie Ching, his Kauai Hanai mom. Also survived by good friends Dominic Baretto, Alan Stone, Danielle Candelaria, Michael Ching and their families.
Memorial Service will be held at the Waioli Church (Green Church) in Hanalei on May 11, 2019. Visitation from 9 AM to 10 AM. Services to start at 10:05 AM. Burial to follow. He was a kind and gentle man who was always there to lend a hand. He will be sorely missed by all whose lives have been touched by him.
