Marie Rosa Obituary

Marie Sueko Rosa, 78, of Hanamaulu passed away at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital on September 19, 2019. She was born in Lihue, Kauai on June 2, 1941 and retired as a cashier with Hanamaulu Store and waitress at various locations.

Preceded in death by her parents, Heikichi & Marie Rodrigues Wada, sister Eleanor (Alfred) Pundyke, Domenica, Frances (Alec) Smith; brothers Joseph Castro Jr., William (Beatrice) Victorino Jr., Moses, Albert and Joseph (Bella) Victorino; hanai parents, William (Emily) Victorino Sr., numerous relatives of the Wada, Fukushima and Tanigawa family.

Marie is survived by her husband of 57 years Howard Rosa and her only child Kathleen Rosa; brother, Louis (Margaret) Victorino; sisters, Thelma Lopes and Alma Soares; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at St. Catherine Church with visitation from 8:00 am, rosary at 9:00 am and Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m.
