Pedro Galiza Sr. Obituary

Pedro Felix Constantino Galiza Sr., 89, of Puhi passed away on June 4, 2019. He was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on March 6, 1930 and retired from Kauai Lagoons Hotel as a housekeeper.

Preceded in death by his parents, Rufino & Martina Galiza; children, Maria, Delia and Jose Galiza; sisters, Veronica (Crispin) Ramil; brother Federico Galiza.

Pedro is survived by his wife of 69 years Rosita Galiza; 7 children, Wilmer (Emily) Galiza, Alperica (Florencio) Ramento, Jel “Lito” Galiza, Renato (Mary Jane) Galiza, Imelda (Albert) Honorato, Pedro (Jessica) Galiza Jr., Divina (Gerald) Rapozo; 17 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; sister, Monica Queja of the Philippines; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8:00 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
