Ricardo Ruaboro Obituary
Ricardo “Papa” Martinez Ruaboro, 84, of Puhi passed away on August 20, 2019. He was born in Kilauea, Kauai on February 7, 1935 and retired from Lihue Sugar Plantation as a laborer.
Preceded in death by his parents, Victorio & Salome Ruaboro; son, Carmelo Ruaboro; brothers, Jenciano Ruaboro and Javis Ruaboro.
Papa is survived by his wife, Dionisia Ruaboro; 6 children, Winnie (Cely) Ruaboro, Alex (Imelda) Ruaboro, Agusto (Aida) Ruaboro, Carmelita (Almie) Ruaboro, Maddi (Brian) Valdez, Derrick (Stacey) Ruaboro; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carmen (Jaime) Jimenez, Van (Amelia) Ruaboro, Feliciano (Pilar) Ruaboro; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8:00 a.m. and mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
