Richard "Dick" Bechard Obituary
Richard “Dick” Joseph Bechard, 83, died August 23, 2018. He drifted off peacefully at home in Lihue, Hawaii with his loving wife Luvimin Pajarillo Ganotisi Bechard by his side.
Dick was born in Waterville, Maine on June 25, 1935 to Edward J. Bechard and Antoinette Marie Leblanc Bechard.
He was a fireman in Leesburg and then enjoyed a long career with Florida Telephone Company.
He was an avid trails rider for years and later turned to white water rafting and kayaking, as well as taking long walks on the beach with Luvi.
Dick is survived by his wife, Luvimin, his first wife Elizabeth Ann St. Amand Bechard Jones of Orlando and their three children Ann Bechard Stahl of Ergershiem, Germany, Beth Bechard Mills of Gainesville, Florida and Alan Arthur Bechard of Clarksville, Tennessee, their spouses (Karl, Jon and Hanna) and their children and grandchildren as well as his niece and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Toni and his sister Reinette Bechard Couture.
