Rosenda Madrid Obituary
Rosenda Pasion Madrid, 100, of Hanamaulu passed away at Hale Kapuna Heritage Home on December 29, 2019. She was born in Baccara, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on May 1, 1919 and was a dedicated homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Venancio Madrid; daughter, Eugenia Bergonia and son, Mark Madrid.
Rosenda is survived by six children, Petra (Ben) Barbosa, Angel (Gloria) Madrid, Abelina (Cuyler) Shaw, Norbertha Madrid, Juanita Abara, Jose (Juliet) Madrid; 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 10 great great-grandchildren; brother, Benjamin Pasion; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall with viewing from 9:00 a.m. and services celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
