Roy Sakata Obituary
Roy Shane Sakata, 49, of Kapaa passed away at home on December 16, 2019. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on December 18, 1969.
Preceded in death by his parents, Sazuku and Mamie Sakata; brothers, Danny Drapesa and Stanley Drapesa.
Roy is survived by his wife, Tina Sakata; sons, Preston Sakata, Trevor Sakata, Bradley Sakata; sister, Carolyn (Ricardo) Garma; brothers, Richard (Kandus Teel) Drapesa, Laureto “Larry” (Janelle) Drapesa; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Roy’s life will be held at the Hanamaulu Beach Pavilion on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 12:00 noon.
