Tia Alohilani Obrero, 26, of Koloa passed away on February 14, 2019. She was born in Lihue on September 26, 1992 and was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter and friend and also a medical technician.
Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Eddie Obrero Sr. and Lucille Peralta.
Tia is survived by her daughter, Mia Mailani Blackstad; son, Milo Pihanakalani Blackstad; mother, Sandee Aqui; father, Eddie (Mary) Obrero; brother, Brent (Robyn) Obrero; sister, Kayli Obrero; maternal grandmother, Joanie Cliffe; maternal grandfather, Lambert (Cecilia) Aqui; one niece, Kaya Kulia Obrero; one nephew, Kaz ‘Eleu Obrero; numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall with visitation from 10:30 a.m. and services celebrated at 12:00 p.m.
