Visita “Mina” Filomena Villanueva Viernes Turqueza of Hanamaulu passed away on April 5, 2018, at home at the age of 93. Born on July 2, 1924 in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She was a dedicated homemaker.
She is preceded in death by husband, Metodio Turqueza; parents, Claudio & Dionicia Viernes; brothers, Bartolome, Macario & Gorgonio Viernes and sisters, Delfina Idlao & Colleta Viernes.
She is survived by her son, Patricio “Mr. Pat” (Pauline) Viernes, granddaughter, Venessa F. Viernes, great-granddaughter, Kylee Viernes Toyama, sister-in-law, Carlina Viernes and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with family on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial gardens.
