Alice Ching Obituary
Alice Shiraishi Ching, 94, passed away in Kapaa on April 12, 2023. She was born in Lanai City on January 6, 1929, and worked as a secretary at a law firm.
She is preceded in passing by her parents Ikuji and Tomo Shiraishi, her husband Edwin K.D. Ching, siblings Clinton and Spencer Shiraishi and Jonsie (Eugene) Yamamoto.
Alice is survived by her sons Michael (Irene), Jason, and Ben (Natalie) Kobayashi, grandchildren Tyler (Nohelani), Tori, Kallen, and Kadden Kobayashi, great-grandchildren, Kyrie and Kamryn Kobayashi, and sister Jane (Buddy) Festerling of Honolulu.
Private services will be held. Family requests no koden (gifts).
