Amelia Cortado Ruaboro, 82, of Kilauea passed away on August 30, 2022. She was born in Ilocos Sur, Philippines on July 10, 1940 and retired from Princeville Corporation.
Preceded in death by her husband, Van Martinez Ruaboro; parents, Emegidio and Marina Cortado, brothers-in-law, Ricardo Ruaboro, Javis Ruaboro and Jaime Jimenez.
Amelia is survived by her son Melvan (Stephanie) Ruaboro; daughter Rosemarie (Mario) Dulatre; grandchildren, Mika Mateo-Ruaboro, Ka’u Mateo-Ruaboro, Kainoa Mateo-Ruaboro, Marette Dulatre, Rochelle Dulatre, Marvin Dulatre, Rheanne Ragasa; great-grandchildren, Chayson, Roxie, Cydnee, Chaziah; brothers, Romeo (Nora) Cortado, Moises (Bella) Cortado, Ruperto (Marcela) Cortado; sister-in-law, Carmen Jimenez; brother-in-law, Feliciano (Pilar) Ruaboro; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at St. Catherine Church with viewing from 8:30 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
