Annie Okubo Obituary
Annie F. Okubo, 94, passed away on December 2, 2023. She was born in Kipu on August 28, 1929, and was the owner of Annie’s Beauty Shop in Lihue.
She was preceded in passing by her husband Suemi Okubo, parents Ryoji & Sakayo Kodama, brother Hajime Kodama, and sister Katherine Takaki.
Annie is survived by her children Darrelyn (Stanley) Tanji, Eric Okubo, Joyce (Dale) Johns, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sisters Jane Nakamura, Flora Oshima, and Ethel Tachikawa.
Private services will be held at a later date. The family requests no koden.
