April Reis-Meyer Obituary
April K. Reis-Meyer, 80, of Kapa’a passed away at home on January 9, 2024. She was born in Lihue, Kauai on February 1, 1943 and retired from Beach Boy Hotel as a front desk clerk.
Preceded in death by her 1st husband Jerry Reis and 2nd husband Gerry Meyer; parents, August and Katherine Kane Sr., brother August Kane Jr., and sister Katherine Matsushima.
April is survived by her children, Jerilyn Pang Ching of Hilo, Jonathan (Roxanne) Reis, Matthew (Michelle) Reis; 10 grandchildren, Joshua (Ali) Pang Ching of Hilo, Jenna (Jovan) Crockett of Utah, Kevin (Shalee Mundon) Reis of Kapahi, Brandon (Shaynee Kamoku) Reis, Jon Reis, Janelle (Trent Allianic) Reis of Las Vegas, Crystal Reis, Christina (Charles) Lee, Jesse (Courtney Parbo) Reis, Kailea Reis; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joann Kane, Lowell Kane and Keala (Tony) Prem; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
