Athey Spence Obituary
Athey Neal Spence, 84, of Kapaa passed away on February 17, 2026 at home. He was born in Ohio on September 5, 1941 and was a veteran of the United States Navy and a power plant operator for Kauai Electric.
He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Virginia Spence and brother, John Spence.
Athey is survived by his daughters, Jolene (Michael Oishi) Spence, Cindy (Derek) Reis and Tina Swanson and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Grave side services will be held at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, beginning at 9 a.m.
