Bessie Garbo Obituary
Bessie Duran Garbo, 77, of Honolulu passed away on September 16, 2022. She was born in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on February 12, 1945 and retired as a cashier with Whalers General Store.
Preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Mercedes Duran; brother, Romulo Duran and brother-in-law, Abelardo Iloreta.
Bessie is survived by her brothers Artemio (Shanna) Duran, Isabelo (Elisa) Duran; sisters, Amelia Iloreta, Avelina (Herbert) Semana; sister-in-law, Cora Duran; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at St. Catherine Church with visitation from 9:00 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
