Betsy Kimiko Tsuda Akama, 94, of Lihue passed away at home on February 2, 2021. She was born in Kipu Valley, Kauai on May 18, 1926 and retired from Department of Health as a Lab Technician.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Akama and son, Lance Akama.
Betsy is survived by her 5 children, David Akama, Edythe (Rodney) Maeda, Alan Akama, Michael (Gina) Akama, Kenneth Akama; daughter-in-law, Ann Akama; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held. Family graciously declines Koden.
