Charles Anacleto Lono McGee Sr., born on July 25,1959 in Kingman, Arizona, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at Wilcox Hospital at the age of 66. He worked at Smith’s Boats for many years as a boat captain then at Smith’s Tropical Paradise Luau before retiring.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Charlene McGee, his children, Trish Rivera (Elua), Charles McGee Jr., and Jenny McGee (Junior), grandchildren Ekolu Rivera (Selena), Max McGee Hase, Tristyn Rivera, and Jaxon McGee, and great-granddaughter Ryleigh Rivera. He is also survived by his mother, Arlene Battad, sisters Velene McGee (Shane), Tracie Furumoto (Mark) and Billie Gay Mapuana Hepa Mejia Mayen (Saul) brother Toa Hepa (Nicole), brother-in-law, Adam Wojak and numerous nieces, nephews, and family members here on Kauai and in Peach Springs, Arizona.
Charles was predeceased by his father, Antonio Burns McGee, and sister Toni McGee and Kainoa Wojak.
A celebration of Charles’s life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Smith's Tropical Paradise with visitation from 8:30am - 9:30 with services to follow. His memory will be carried forward with love, laughter, and the stories shared by those who were fortunate to know him.
