Charles Melandish Obituary

Charles Melandish, 97, left this world peacefully on February 15, 2024. He was born in Koolau, Kauai on April 20,1926. He was a lineman with Kauai Electric and served in the Hawaiian National Guard.

He was preceded in passing by his parents Charles and Emma Melandish; daughter, Adela Imaoka, grandson, Travis Melandish and grand daughter, Jayda Mundon; brothers Issac Melandish, Joseph “Joe” Melandish; sisters Florence “Pua” Albao, Salome Wong and Emma Oda.

Charles is survived by Pearl Melandish; daughters, Ivy (Gary) Gatiuan, Jan (Calvin) Wada, Faith (Malcom Oyamot) Melandish, Tammy (Daniel) Manaku and Tanya (Troy) Ichinose.

Private services will be held by the family.
