Charlita Barut Obituary
Charlita Agbayani Barut passed away peacefully at her home in Lihue on October 5, 2025 at the age of 79. She was born on November 6, 1945 in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines and worked as a Laundry Attendant at the Grand Hyatt Resort & Spa.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, Santiago & Lucena Agbayani.
Charlita is survived by her sisters, Pacita A. (Mariano) Mangusin, Elma A. (Cresencio) Abad and Ester V. (Patricio) Racimo; brother, Rudy V. Agbayani and numerous nieces, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 29, 2025 at St. Michael Church in Lihue. Viewing will begin at 8:00 AM, services to follow at 10:00 AM and burial at Kauai Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM.
