Diana Nakamura Obituary

Diana Napua Nakamura, 81, of Kapaa passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on April 26, 2019. She was born in Lihue, Kauai on June 21, 1937 and retired as a Housekeeper with Pono Kai Resorts.

Preceded in death by her husband, Hidemi Nakamura; parents James & Margaret Panui; sister Kanani Kahaunaele; brother Paul Panui; brother-in-law, Michael Chandler.

Diana is survived by her sons, Reid Nakamura and Jeffrey Chandler Jr.; sister Merilee Chandler; brother James (Carmen) Panui Jr.; brother-in-law, David Kahaunaele; sister-in-law, Elaine Panui; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 3061 Kalihiwai Road beginning at 10:00 a.m.
