Donald Travaso Obituary
Donald J. Travaso, “Sheriff of Hanama‘ulu,” passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2021. He was born in Lihu‘e on Nov. 29, 1938, and was retired from the County of Kaua‘i.
He was preceded in death by Joseph and Charlotte Travasso and faithful companion Manti.
He is survived by daughters Darnell (Myles) Aquino and Sheri (Scott) Yagihara, son Donavan (Alynda) Travasso, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brother Joseph “Pancho” (Mildred) Travasso, sister Geraldine Duarte and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for a later date to be announced.
