Dorene Louise Sautner, 83, passed away peacefully at home on August 7, 2025. She was born in Oakland, CA on March 22, 1942 and retired as a Registered Nurse with Kauai Hospice.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Reuben & Leona Salmonson; husband, George Sautner and brother, Grant Salmonson; step-son, Robbie Sautner
Dorene is survived by her daughters, Donna Kanahele and Julie Slade; step-son, Randy Sautner; sisters, Barbara Johnson & Joanne (Tuck) Putnam; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Private services will be held at a later date.
