Doris Shimabukuro, 97, passed away on March 19, 2023. She was born in Kealia on November 7, 1925 and worked as an account clerk at Grayline Kauai.
She is preceded in passing by her husband, Choichi Shimabukuro, siblings Haruko “Grace” Yokoyama and Lawrence Kiyabu.
Doris is survived by her children; Joni Arakaki, Ross Shimabukuro, Robin (Corliss) Shimabukuro, grandchildren; Amanda Arakaki, Jerel (Shana) Arakaki, Kalia Shimabukuro, and great-grandchildren; Kaori Koerte, and Keegan & Rilen Arakaki.
Private services will be held. Please no koden.
