Dorothy Bonilla Obituary
Dorothy Fujii Bacarro Bonilla of Lihue passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 96. She was born on June 10, 1928 in Lihue. She worked as a cocktail waitress at Club Jetty and then as a housemaid for Mabel Wilcox.
She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband Michael Bonilla Sr.; her parents, Angel Bacarro and Okimi Daguay; her stepfather, Alberto Daguay; and her siblings, Catherine, Alfred, and James.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Anita B. Kaneakua, Helen Marie (Wesley) Uchida, Virgina (Larry) Texeira, Michael (Thelma) Bonilla Jr., Jo Ann (Keith) Silva, Wayne (Audrey) Bonilla, and Lola (Charlie) Bonilla; 18 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Private services were held by the family.
