Edean Gardner Obituary
Edean Lono Gardner, 68, of Anahola passed away on October 21, 2022. He was born in Lihue on
September 8, 1954 and worked for the Department of Transportation of Hawaii’s Highway Division.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Moses and Mercedes Gardner; brothers, Clarence (Nani)
Gardner, Alton Gardner; and his sister, Iris Woodward.
Edean is survived by his wife, Molly “Pua” Gardner; son, Kapena Cummings; grandsons, Ezra and Ezekiel
Cummings; sister, LoyAnn Gardner; brother-in-law, Darriel Woodward; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Services will be held at Anahola Beach Park on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Casual attire is
requested.
