Ernest Pabustan Obituary
Ernest S. Pabustan, 81, passed away at his home in Kapaa on November 12, 2023. He was born in Sta. Anna, Arayat, Pampanga, Philippines on January 14, 1942. He worked at Clark Airbase as a waiter, then moved to Kauai where he worked at Kauai Resort, Coco Palms, and then Tropical Smith’s.
He is preceded in passing by his son, Stephen Pabustan; parents Fernando and Trinidad Pabustan; and seven siblings.
Ernest is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Annie Pabustan; his children, Ferdinand (Gigetteann) Pabustan, Maria Genedina Pabustan, Maria Cecilia (Brad) Gipolan, Theresa (David) Mow, 6 grandchildren, 2 greatgrandchildren, and 2 siblings.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Catherine’s Church om Monday, December 4, 2023 with visitation starting from 8:15am to 9:45am, a funeral mass at 10:00am and burial to follow at St. Catherine’s Church Kealia Cemetery.
