Ervin “Erv’ Alonzo Contrades Jr of Lihue passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 72. He was born in Lihue on January 19, 1952 and worked as the office manager for Blue Hawaiian Helicopters.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Ervin Sr. and Mercedes Contrades.
Erv is survived by his sisters, Lavana (Debbie Almeida) Contrades and Sandi (Jerry) Costa; brothers, Clayton Contrades and Kalei (Wiley) Contrades; Hanai Brother, Charles Strunk; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
A Service will be held at Lihue Lutheran Church on Saturday May 25, 2024 with visitation with the family beginning at 9:30am and services starting at 10:30am.
