Florencio Castro Obituary
Florencio Castro, 79, of Kapa‘a, passed away on Aug. 20, 2022, at Samuel Mahelona Hospital in Kapa‘a. He was born in Sta. Maria Ilocus Sur Philippines. He worked on Kaua‘i as a landscaper for Kaua‘i Resort.
He was preceded in death by parents Fidel and Dionicia Castro.
He is survived by wife Corazon Castro, son Julius (Angelin) Castro and grandchildren Julianne, Jericho, and Julius Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held at St. Catherine’s Church, in Kapa‘a, on Saturday, Sept. 17. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. and a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kealia Cemetery.
