Gavino Vila Tagavilla, 77, of Lihue passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on January 26, 2022. He was born in Dilavo, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on March 29, 1944 and retired as a Landscaper.
Preceded in death by his parents, Teodoro & Jacoba Tagavilla, sisters, Marciana Tangonan, Gloria Tangonan and Eleceo Tagavilla; grandsons, Jason Joson, John Paul Joson and Dave Tagavilla.
Gavino is survived by his wife, Florencia Tagavilla; children, Aurora (Efren) Salud, Glyceria (Jimmy) Joson, Efren (Ailene Balatico) Tagavilla; 7 grandchildren, Aira, Mark, Kailen, Joyce Ann, James, Reniel Jay, Jake; 4 great-grandchildren, Jake Ryan, Jayden, Jared and Jeremiah; brother, Guillermo (Catherine) Tagavilla; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 9:30 and Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Social distancing and masks will be enforced.
