Genevieve "Aunty Genny" Moura Obituary
Genevieve “Aunty Genny” Carmelita Moura, 85, of Omao passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 17, 2022. She was born on in Kaimuki, Oahu on August 24, 1936 and retired as an LPN.
Preceded in death by her former husband, Charles Howard Moura; daughter, Cimmeron Louise Moura; parents, Santos Domingo Troche and Lucy Ramos Troche; sister, Lucy T. Metiz.
Genevieve is survived by her children, Rose Marie (Benjamin) Jimenez, Charles Moura, James Moura, Cimmeron Carmelita Jones, Howard (Gigi Quinn) Moura; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Domingo Santos Troche Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo. The family will have visitation at 9:00AM, with Mass at 10:00AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Church. There will be a reception at Hanapepe Pavilion by the tennis courts after the burial.
