Gerald McDowall Obituary
Gerald “Jim” James McDowall of Lawai passed away in Lihue on April 19, 2024 at the age of 86. He was born on May 30, 1937 in Bismarck, North Dakota. He was a Marine Biology Teacher at Kauai High School.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Douglas and Yvonne McDowall; sister, Rita McDowall; and brother, Don McDowall.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, JoAnne McDowall; sons, Darren (Cynthia) McDowall and Jay (Rhea) McDowall; granddaughter, Morgan McDowall; siblings, Mark McDowall, Douglas McDowall, and Jane Wike.
