Germain G. “Vena” Chandler, 62 of Haena passed away on September 4, 2022.
Born on February 21,1960 in Lihue, Kauai. Wenna was employed by Hanalei Initiative as the “Ambassador Of Aloha” Welcoming all who come to the gates of Ke’e upon entering.
Preceded in death by parents Francis Elias Chandler Sr. and Elizabeth “Kapeka” Mahuiki Chandler,
brothers, William Hughes Chandler and Lawrence Laamaikahiki “La’a boy” Chandler Sr., sister, Jasmine Kainoa Chandler Forrest.
Survived by partner, Michael Schermerhorn of Haena. sisters, Juanita Chandler Montanez of Philippines, Bethan “Tita Beth” Baptista of Hanalei, Belinda “B” (Iwa Ho’omanawanui) Chandler, Rachel “Lahela” Chandler and Ruth “Luka” Chandler all of Wainiha, Alohalani Alapai of Honolulu; brothers, Francis “Buddah” (Rhoda Wright) Chandler Sr. of Honolulu, Kirkland Kuhio (Hilary Ferris) Chandler Sr. of Kilauea, Aloysius Moku (Nancymae Puulei) Chandler Sr., Jeffery Chandler/Linda Thompson all of Wainiha, Colan “Toleto” (Coty Whipple) Chandler of Honolulu, Silas “Pa’ula Chandler of Wainiha, Conrad “Racky” (Thomas Rubalcava) Chandler of Maui; brother-in-law, Ralph “Skip” Forrest of Kapahi, sister-in-law, Amie Jan Chandler of Kalihiwai, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended Ohana.
Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday October 8, 2022 at Waipā Foundation. Visitation 8:30am Service 10:00am.
