Glenn Takeo Kawamura, 80, of Lihue passed away on Oahu on June 6, 2026. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on January 17, 1946 and retired as a car sales person with Ohana Motors. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Preceded in death by his parents, Masato & Beatrice Kawamura and brother Samuel Kawamura.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Aida Kawamura; son, Keith (Julia) Kawamura; daughter, Raeleen “Lani” (Terrence Aczon) Kawamura; step-sons, Jason (Rachelle) Asuncion, Lance (Allison) Okasaki; step-daughter, Alayna (Christopher) Cate; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Edward (Lilli) Kawamura; sister, Amy Hayashida of California; sister-in-law, Joanne Kawamura of California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Hope Collective with visitation at 9:00 a.m. and services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Military Honors to follow. 4303 Rice St. Lihue, HI. 96766
