Hilarion Luis, Jr. Obituary
Hilarion “John” Martinez Luis, Jr., 78, passed away on July 1, 2023. He was born Dingras, Philippines on January 3, 1945, and worked on Kauai as a groundskeeper for Lihue Airport.
He is preceded in passing by his son, Jaron Luis; parents, Hilarion Sr. and Martina Luis; and his brother, Felizardo Luis.
John is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Elena Luis; daughter, Jaylaneen (Joseph) Lyons; his grandchildren, Hudson, Hunter, and Alina; his sisters Maria Pillos and Irene Augustine.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday July 24, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church in Lihue with visitation starting at 8:30 am, a funeral mass at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park in Lihue.
