Hisako “Kay” Yamamoto of Kapaa passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born on March 25, 1931 in Tokyo, Japan and worked at Hawaiian Airlines.
She is proceeded in passing by her husband, Grover Yamamoto; son, Gene Yamamoto; parents, Masami and Saiji Kozu; and brothers, Yukio Yokoo and Hiroshi Kozu.
Kay is survived by her daughter, Naomi Yamamoto of Lihue; sister, Michiko Matsumoto of Japan; grandchildren, Kristie Spence of Arizona, Karleen Wade of California, and Michael Quintana of California; great-grandchildren, Alyson, Derek, Devin, Ethan, Keira, Kyan, Mitchell, and Sydney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests no koden or flowers.
