Obituary

Inocencio “Joe” “Jose” Sagisi Alcaraz, 74, of Hanamaulu passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on August 28, 2023. He was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on July 4, 1949 and retired from Lihue Sugar Plantation as an Irrigator.

Preceded in death by his parents Genaro & Dominga Alcaraz and sister, Felicidad Gamiao.

Joe is survived by his wife, Connie Alcaraz; son Joseph (Jackie Lou) Alcaraz; daughters, Janelyn (Hermoso Jr.) Parallag, Cheryl (Michael) Parallag; grandchildren, Sharmayne Joy Alcaraz, Janessa Haydee Parallag, Hayven Gabe Parallag, Xian Angelo Alcaraz, Chretzen Mikael Parallag, Amarah Joyce Alcaraz, Grant Daesen Parallag, Meillary Blezz Parallag; sisters Lolita (Jaime Sr.-dec.) Tagudan of the Philippines, Monica (Bonifacio Sr.-dec) Guerrero of the Philippines, Susan (Melvin) Braceros of Kauai; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing 8:00 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:00. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
