Jan Kimura Obituary
Jan Roy Kimura, of Kīlauea, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on June 23, 1961, Jan was deeply devoted to his ʻohana & serving the Kauaʻi community. In retirement he found great joy in caring for and spending time with his granddaughter.
Jan was preceded in death by his father, Takayuki Kimura.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Terra Kimura, Torren (Takara) Kimura, and Taelee Kimura; the mother of his children, Shaylyn Ornellas; his granddaughters, Alina and ʻIhilani Kimura; his mother, Sally Kimura; his siblings, Alan, Don, Gale, Karl, Lori and Ted, as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Kīlauea. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11:30 a.m.
