Jeanelle "Benki" Somera Obituary

Jeanelle “Benki” Marie Somera, 54, passed away on September 28, 2023 at her home in Kapa’a. She was born on August 20, 1969 in Honolulu, Hawaii and worked as an assistant manager at Pono Kai Resort.

She is preceded in passing by her father, Rudolph “Rudy” Somera; and her grandparents, Silverio and Anastacia Pegeder.

Benki is survived by her sons, Ryan Somera-Gonsalves and Cory Somera-Payomo; her mother, Natividad Ramos; and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 25th at Immaculate Conception Church beginning at 8:00 a.m. with burial and Celebration of Life to follow.
