Obituary
Jeanette Sanae Kawamura, 83, of Wailua Homesteads passed away at home on May 15, 2023, with loved ones at her side. She was born in Waimea, Kauai on June 6, 1939, and was a domestic engineer with a passion for volunteering at Wilcox Medical Center.
She is preceded in passing by her husband Harry Akiyoshi Kawamura, parents Clinton G. and Bernice “Satomi” Shiraishi.
Jeanette is survived by her children, son Jon (Maija) Kawamura of Oregon, son Glen (Malia) Kawamura, son Barry (Joanne) Kawamura, and daughter Amy Kawamura, and 9 grandchildren.
A private celebration of her life was held for the family on July 12th.
