Jerry Louis Sr. Obituary
Jerry June Louis Sr. of Hanapepe Heights passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 90. He was born on June 2, 1934 in Eleele and worked as a Welder and Rancher for McBryde Sugar Company.
He is preceded in passing by his children, Linda Kanahele and Joseph Taboniar Jr.; parents, Marion and Marie Louis; siblings, Herman Louis, Abel Louis, and Madeline Miller; grandson, Evan Louis.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sheila Garcia-Louis; children, Monica Louis-Alayvilla, Jerrlyn (George) Gregory, Jerrie (Reiko) Louis Jr., and Thia (Joe) Maghanoy; sister, Rosemarie Lacro; sister-in-law, Marie R. Louis; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandaughter, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 7, 2024 at Holy Cross Church Kalaheo with visitation from 8:30am to 10:15am, a funeral mass at 10:30am, and burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Flowers are welcomed and casual wear is requested by the family.
