Joseph Kaleiohi Obituary
Joseph Kahalekulu Kaleiohi, 85 of Anahola passed away peacefully at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on August 15, 2022. He was born in Papa’a, Kauai on September 6, 1936. He graduated from Kapa’a High School in 1955. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy & The Hawaii Army National Guard and retired from the Hawaii Laborers Union Local 368.
Preceded in death by his parents Ephraim & Evangeline Contrades Kaleiohi, Brothers, Ephraim, Edward, Ellsworth, Samuel, Robert & Phillip Kaleiohi. Sisters, Evangeline Evans, Winifred Cummings, Phyliss Goias, & Evelyn Reis.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Marlene Kaleiohi; children Joseph Koani (Deana) Kaleiohi of San Diego, CA, Michelle Rose Lehuanani (Kirk) Correa of Hanapepe & Matt Kahale (Jaymi) Kaleiohi of Kalihiwai.
12 Grandchildren, Kayla Nalani Kaleiohi, Dallas Kahale (Malia) Correa, Chloe Lehua (Jordan) Tinjaca, Heather Hi’ilani Kaleiohi, Shannin-Alana (Keenan) Driver, Kaimana Pomakai Kaleiohi, Malia Ku’ulei Kaleiohi, Kari-Makenna Correa, Kahale Julio Kaleiohi, Kulia Kaleiohi, Kaliko Lehua Kaleiohi & Kia’i Kai Kaleiohi.
4 Great Grandchildren, Jayden & Jayleen Tinjaca, Xyris Costales & Maili-Rose Driver.
Brother Theodore Kaleiohi, Sister Daisy Tailfeathers, Sisters-In-Law, Shirley Schwem, Lois, Amanda & Lani Kaleiohi.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 17, 2022 at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe at 1pm.
