Josephina Gatiuan Obituary
Josephina Gatiuan, of Kapaa, passed away on October 31, 2025 at the age of 86. She was born on January 10, 1939 and worked as a receptionist.
She was preceded in passing by her husband Jose Gatiuan, son Jay Gatiuan, parents Jose and Filomena Suan, siblings Loretta Felipe, Patsy Canales, Phil Suan, Bert Suan, Cornelio Suan, Lucia Suan, Dorothy Agustin, Frank Suan, Constantino Suan, Alfredo Suan, Felipe Suan and Eleanor Arrojo.
Josephina is survived by her son Gary (Ivy) Gatiuan, daughters Deborah (Robert) Carter, Sharon (Tom) McDonough, granddaughter Kimberly Hope McDonough, brother Lawrence Suan, sisters Mary Oshima and Elizabeth (Roger) Batara, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapaa on December 20, 2025. Visitation will begin at 9:00am, mass at 10:00am with burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
