Josephine Brede Obituary
Josephine Brede, 82, of Anahola, Kauai, a retired retail clerk at Pono Market, died Thursday, March 19, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born in Waimea, Kauai.
She is survived by sons; Paul (Clorinda) Brede, Jr, Clyde (Davlyn) Brede, Scott (Cheryl) Brede and Preston Brede; daughter Jolyn (Joe) Borden; brother Kurt (Nellie) Bacio; sisters Annette (Bert) Moriguchi and Geraldine (William) Salsbury; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 18, 2026 at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapaa. Visitation will begin at 9:30 with Mass to follow at 11:00. Burial will take place at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
