Juan Ancheta Obituary

Juan Ancheta, 83, of Lihue passed away on December 8, 2020. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on April 26, 1937 and retired from Lihue Sugar Plantation.

Preceded in death by his wife, Rehina Ancheta; daughter, Betty Fahselt; parents, Leocadio Ancheta & Eugenia Sanches; brothers, Cipriano & Pedro Ancheta; sister, Louisa Ramos.

Juan is survived by his 3 children, Gabriel Ancheta, Clayton (Donna) Ancheta of Hanamaulu; daughter, Teresa (Ralph) Worrell of Anahola; grandchildren, Nalani (Daniel) Pa of Lihue, Amanda (Chad) Canaynay of Largo, Florida, Salena (Vernon) Dela Cruz of Eleele, Bryson Worrell of Kapaa, Nelson Nitta Jr. of Kalaheo; greatgrandchildren, Daniel “Kaili”, Tyler & Jonah Pa, Isaiah & Maliah Dela Cruz, Morgan Worrell-Bunao, Caleb Canaynay; sisters, Mary (Jesse) Canoy of Ewa Beach, E. Delores (Robert) Helser of Nanakuli, Rosita Fry of Colorado Springs; brother, Eiko Ancheta of San Francisco; brothers-in-law, Albert & Arthur Maghanoy; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Kauai Memorial Gardens with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
