Katy Ellen Means of Kapaa passed away on September 17, 2024. She was born on March 6, 1973 in California. Katy is survived by her daughter, Lea, mother, and siblings. Katy was a force who lived and loved with passion. Her zest for life, humor, talents as a chef & gardener, laughter, boundless generosity, and love for gathering & entertaining will be sorely missed by all of those who were blessed to know her.
There will be two memorial services held to celebrate Katy’s life. All who love Katy are encouraged to attend.
Kauai: On Sunday, October 13th, there will be a gathering at Anahola Beach (Kumu Camp side) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Casual attire is suggested (swimwear if you want to celebrate her love of the ocean!). If desired, pack beach chairs and whatever you prefer if you’d like to toast or share food in Katy’s honor. https://www.kauai.com/anahola-beach
California: On Saturday, October 26th, there will be a casual gathering at La Selva Beach Clubhouse from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. https://www.lsbrd.org/
