Kenneth Ishii Obituary
Kenneth Kiyokazu Ishii (Uncle Kenny),72, of Kapaa passed peacefully in his sleep at home on December 31, 2024.
Kenny is preceded in passing by his parents, Kenneth & Marian Ishii; Son, Ryan Ishii; Sister, Dawn Ishii; and Brothers, Douglas & Michael Ishii.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Jane Sullivan; his Son, Lukas Ishii; Sisters, Colleen (Mike) Ishii, Terry Agno, Ione Ishii; Brother, Peter (Mary) Ishii; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews & cousins.
Kenny was creator/operator of Ono Family Restaurant in Kapaa for many decades and retired in 2020. His passions were community service and uniting/connecting people. His creative mind was always active and he eagerly shared his ideas with anyone willing to listen. He treated everyone like family, making each person he met feel known and cherished, as if they had been lifelong friends. Kenny truly embodied a true spirit of aloha.
In lieu of traditional tributes like donations to charity, flowers, or planting trees in Kenny’s memory, we kindly request that you instead help someone in need in our community.
