Lainie Kainoa Wojak, of Kapaa, passed away on November 23, 2025 at the age of 54. She was born in Lihue on October 4, 1971, worked as a school health aide and was an advocate and coordinator for children with type 1 diabetes on Kauai.
She was preceded in passing by her father Anthony Jacob Hepa, sister Toni Puanani McGee and brother Charles Anacleto Lono McGee.
Lainie is survived by her loving husband Adam Brandt Wojak, sons Lanakila Nui O Ka Mo’i Ika Lani Wojak, Brandt Craig (Katie) Wojak of Wisconsin, mother Arlene Elzadia Kuuleinaala Battad, mother-in-law Rosemarie Glisch of Wisconsin, sisters Billie Gay (Saul) Hepa Mejia Mayen of Las Vegas, Savannah Akiona Jordan, Velene (Shane) McGee, Tracie (Mark) Furumoto, brother Anthony Keli'ikoa "Toa" (Nicole) Hepa and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date.
